A leading Legal 500 national firm is looking for an Employment Professional Support Lawyer to join its top-tier employment team. This is a standout opportunity for an employment lawyer who loves the law but is ready to step away from time recording, billing targets and the constant juggle of fee-earning pressures.
This role puts you at the centre of the practice. You’ll be the person who knows what’s changing, what’s coming next and how the team can stay one step ahead. From shaping and maintaining precedents, to translating legal developments into practical guidance, to delivering training that actually lands, you’ll have a real and visible impact on how the team works and the service clients receive.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and maintain precedents, translate legal developments into practical guidance, and deliver training that lands, influencing how the team works and the service clients receive.
- Be the go-to person for tricky questions, spot patterns across cases, and provide strategic insights to the team.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical grounding in employment law with good judgement and the confidence to work closely with partners and senior lawyers across a national practice.
- Experience as an Employment PSL or as an employment solicitor curious about making a switch; PSL on CV is not required.
Culture and benefits:
Alongside high-quality work and a genuinely supportive culture, the firm treats PSLs as an integral part of the team rather than a bolt-on. Flexible working is embraced, progression is taken seriously, and your expertise will be recognised, relied on and valued.
