If you’re a Solicitor with experienceor a strong interest in Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse work, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of the South West’s most respected full-service firms, known for its progressive culture and strong reputation across family and private client law.

You’ll be joining a highly regarded Family team of around 40 professionals across multiple offices, including 20 qualified lawyers and a well-established support team. The department generates in excess of £4 million in annual revenue and is recognised for its specialist expertise in all areas of family law — from high-net-worth financial matters to complex children and domestic abuse cases.

Based in Bristol, you’ll focus on private law children and domestic abuse work, managing your own caseload of legal aid and privately funded files with appropriate supervision. You’ll provide practical, empathetic advice to clients, appear in advocacy where appropriate, and assist senior colleagues on more complex matters. There’s also genuine scope to get involved in business development as the team continues to expand its presence across the South West.

This role would suit an NQsolicitor or someone with up to five years’ PQE, ideally with previous experience in family or child law. You’ll need strong client care skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive, compassionate approach to problem-solving.
