An opportunity for a Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-regarded law firm. Over the last 15 years, the firm's partners have built a modern, full-service law firm. It is a robust business, and they offer very competitive salaries for the area. The firm is recruiting for an experienced Conveyancer for their Garstang or Lytham office. You will ideally be qualified as Solicitor, by CLC or CILEX but this is not essential.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of conveyancing files, including freehold, leasehold, purchase, sales and remortgages from instruction to completion
- Preparing and drafting documentation as required
- Liaising with solicitors, clients and estate agents on elements of the conveyancing transaction
- Keeping the case management system up to date
- Responsible for the exchange and completion of files
- Dealing with pre-contract enquiries
- Investigating title
- Applying for and investigating property searches
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be qualified as a solicitor, but this is not essential. You will need considerable experience as a fee earner in a conveyancing department. Demonstrating good organisational skills and being determined to progress.
