A leading national law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to join its highly regarded team.

The Team

The Employment team advises a broad range of household-name employers and major national businesses on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The team is highly ranked in the Legal Directories and continues to experience strong growth nationally.

The Role

You will work closely with Partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload of employment matters including:

  • Redundancy and restructuring matters
  • Disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Whistleblowing and discrimination claims
  • Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Drafting defences, witness statements and merits reports
  • Supporting clients with day-to-day employment law advice
  • Drafting articles and legal updates
  • Assisting with training, networking and wider business development initiatives

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to develop within a highly respected national practice, gaining exposure to high-quality work and well-known clients.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE)
  • Strong technical employment law knowledge
  • Previous employment law experience during training contract or post‑qualification
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Team‑oriented with a proactive and flexible approach
