My client is a well-established, forward-thinking law Legal 500 firm with a strong presence in the East Midlands and beyond. With consistently high client satisfaction ratings and glowing reviews across reviewing platforms, they’re a firm where people feel genuinely valued – both clients and employees alike. Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a senior-level Employment Partner to join their Nottingham office. The role will suit someone with strong technical skills and a commercial approach, ready to play a key part in the ongoing development of the Employment team.
Key responsibilities include:- Handling a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Acting for a diverse client base including commercial clients in manufacturing, retail, and tech sectors, as well as some personal employment work
- Advising on dismissals, TUPE, discrimination, protected conversations, and day-to-day HR support
- Providing corporate support on employment matters during M&A transactions and restructures
- Leading and mentoring a small team (initially two direct reports)
- Playing an active role in business development and strategic planning for the team

You:- A qualified solicitor with 7+ years PQE in employment law
- Experienced across both contentious and non-contentious work
- Previous exposure to corporate support work is desirable
- Comfortable leading or mentoring a team – or ready to step into that role
