An established and award-winning UK law firm is seeking an organised and proactive Team Coordinator to support its Court of Protection – Property & Affairs team. This is a key position providing high-level coordination and operational support to senior leaders and fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a busy specialist department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced coordinator, senior administrator, executive assistant or PA who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities.

The Role

  • Providing proactive day‑to‑day support to senior managers
  • Managing diaries, inboxes and key deadlines
  • Coordinating internal processes and team operations
  • Organising in‑person and virtual meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Providing typing and document support where required
  • Supporting fee earners with client file administration
  • Assisting with billing preparation and financial processes
  • Opening new files and carrying out conflict checks
  • Tracking new enquiries and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Supporting departmental growth and business development initiatives

This is not a traditional legal secretary role. Administrative support already exists within the team, and this position focuses on coordination, oversight, organisation and proactive management.

About You

We are looking for someone who can bring energy, initiative and professionalism to the role. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Team Coordinator, Personal Assistant, Senior Administrator or similar role
  • Experience supporting Directors, Partners or senior managers
  • Strong diary and inbox management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using case management systems, online portals and email systems
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to work independently using sound judgement and initiative
  • High levels of discretion, attention to detail and professionalism
  • A positive and dependable approach with strong problem‑solving skills

Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 9am – 5pm. During probation, office-based working is expected. Following probation, a hybrid model is likely to apply, with a minimum of four office days per week.
