Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Corporate & Commercial team
  • Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing digital and audio dictation
  • Handling client enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records and case files
  • Diary management, meeting coordination and general administrative support
  • Liaising with clients and colleagues across the business
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • Previous legal secretarial experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong digital and audio typing skills
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage interruptions effectively
  • Strong customer service and client care skills
  • Confident IT skills and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Professional and articulate communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within a Corporate & Commercial legal department
  • Experience using legal Case Management Systems
