We are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join a busy Residential Conveyancing team based in Cullompton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive legal environment.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Residential Conveyancing department, ensuring a high standard of client care at all times.
Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners with day-to-day administrative and secretarial tasks
- Managing client files and liaising directly with clients
- Providing excellent client care in line with internal procedures
- Handling daily administration and document preparation
- Assisting with additional duties as required
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 6 months’ experience in a similar legal secretarial role
- Confidence in their secretarial and organisational abilities
- Typing speed of 60 WPM or above
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- A professional, motivated, and personable approach
- A strong team-player mentality
Desirable (but not essential)
- Good IT and general administration skills
- Experience providing administrative support within conveyancing
