A highly regarded and established law firm in Bramhall is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant / Conveyancing Paralegal to support a Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor on a busy caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for either an ambitious paralegal or a senior conveyancing assistant/secretary.
The Role
- Working one-to-one with a Senior Solicitor, you will assist with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
Responsibilities include
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors.
- Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence and completion statements.
- Preparing completion packs and supporting exchange and completion processes.
- Submitting searches and reviewing conveyancing documentation.
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate client records.
- Providing high-level support on complex residential property transactions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience within a UK residential conveyancing department.
- Experience assisting on freehold and leasehold conveyancing transactions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and third parties.
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing a long-term conveyancing career.
