A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing / Post Completions Assistant to become part of a friendly and supportive Residential Property team based in Whitley Bay. The Role

Working closely with the conveyancing team, you will play a key role in ensuring property transactions are completed efficiently, with a particular focus on post-completion matters and maintaining accurate case records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all post-completion matters for residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications.
  • Dealing with SDLT submissions and associated documentation.
  • Closing files and ensuring all compliance requirements have been met.
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and third parties to progress matters efficiently.
  • Updating the firm's case management system with accurate information.
  • Assisting fee earners with general conveyancing administration.
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documentation.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and files remain fully compliant.
  • Providing excellent client service throughout the transaction process.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working within a residential conveyancing environment.
  • Previous experience dealing with post-completion work.
  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
