The Role
Working closely with Conveyancing Fee Earners, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to help ensure residential property transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing administrative support to Conveyancing Fee Earners
• Opening new files and assisting with client onboarding
• Preparing and processing correspondence and documentation
• Updating the case management system and maintaining accurate electronic files
• Liaising with clients and other parties by telephone and email
• Assisting with ID checks and general compliance administration
• Requesting and processing relevant property documentation
• Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Supporting the team with general conveyancing administration
• Helping Fee Earners manage busy caseloads and meet key deadlines
About You
You will be organised, reliable and comfortable working within a busy office environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities will be essential.
Previous experience within a law firm, conveyancing department or residential property environment would be advantageous, although candidates with strong administration experience and a genuine interest in developing a career within conveyancing are also encouraged to apply.
You should have excellent communication skills, good IT abilities and a professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
