Head of Conveyancing – Warrington
Salary: £60,000 + Bonus
Location: Warrington / Hybrid
Hours: Full-time or Part-time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to take a leading role within a rapidly expanding legal practice in Warrington.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious conveyancing professional who wants to lead and further develop an already thriving conveyancing department. There is genuine long-term potential to progress into a Directorship and board level leadership.
The Role:
You will take responsibility for leading and developing the existing conveyancing team, currently consisting of five people, while helping to shape the future growth of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the conveyancing team and workflow
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload
- Supporting compliance and risk management
- Expanding panel memberships
- Improving processes and implementing IT solutions
- Developing the team and supporting professional growth
- Working closely with the Directors on the continued expansion of the department
- Helping develop the department in line with your own ambitions and ideas
The firm has a strong pipeline of work, operates nationally. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to focus on developing the department rather than solely generating their own work.
About You:
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years' residential conveyancing experience.
Previous team management, compliance, risk management or departmental leadership experience would be advantageous, although candidates with strong conveyancing experience and genuine leadership ambitions will also be considered.
You will be personable, commercially minded and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
