A really good opportunity for a mid-level Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 commercial boutique in North London.
This is a particularly interesting role for someone who wants to develop their litigation career alongside a Partner who has built a strong presence in the market, while remaining genuinely approachable, supportive and invested in the development of those around them. If you are currently in a rut and not being afforded real exposure / feel overlooked by your overseeing partner - this is the role for you. From day one, you'll enjoy real collaboration on exciting work.
The opportunity
You’ll work closely with the firm’s new Head of Dispute Resolution, with the role offering a strong level of exposure and genuine scope to develop your experience across a broad range of commercial disputes.
There is real opportunity for symbiosis between the two roles, with the intention that you’ll work closely together, learn from one another and build on the existing strength of the firm’s dispute resolution offering.
The Partner has developed an excellent reputation amongst both solicitors and Counsel and is well regarded for their litigation expertise, but equally importantly, is known for being open, friendly and approachable.
This is not a role where you’ll simply be expected to pick up the work that needs doing. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved, develop your own client relationships and take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.
The work
The firm handles a broad range of high-quality contentious matters and is particularly interested in candidates with experience across areas such as:
• Commercial litigation and disputes
• Property litigation
• Contentious probate
• Wider commercial dispute resolution
You don’t necessarily need to have experience across all of these areas. The firm is more interested in finding a strong mid-level litigator with good technical grounding and the ambition to continue developing.
About you
You’ll ideally be a solicitor with solid experience in Dispute Resolution and a genuine interest in building your career within a specialist commercial practice.
You’ll be someone who enjoys getting stuck into complex matters, wants exposure to experienced litigators and values working in an environment where you can actually learn from those around you.
Property litigation, contentious probate and commercial litigation experience would be particularly advantageous.
