The Role

  • Join an established Residential Conveyancing team, working closely with a qualified Conveyancing Team Leader and Paralegal.
  • Progress residential property transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion.
  • Take responsibility for a broad range of fee-earning conveyancing work within a supportive team environment.
  • Deal with sale enquiries, liaising with clients and third parties and arranging indemnity insurance where required.
  • Review mortgage offers and searches.
  • Complete title checks and raise enquiries on purchase matters.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports for clients.
  • Liaise with lenders regarding redemption figures, mortgage releases and Certificates of Title.
  • Check signed documentation prior to exchange and arrange for deposit funds to be requested.
  • Prepare completion documentation, including completion statements, invoices and undertakings.
  • Obtain client bank details and manage completion correspondence.
  • Keep clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors updated throughout the transaction.
  • Draft SDLT returns and deal with Help to Buy documentation where required.
  • Assist with all post-completion matters.
  • Maintain accurate case management information across multiple systems.
  • Support the Team Leader with referrer relationship management.
  • Help maintain consistently high standards of client care throughout every transaction.
