I'm recruiting for a Legal Administrator to join the busy Residential Property New Build team of a respected North East law firm based in Stockton-on-Tees.

The Role Working closely with Conveyancing Solicitors and Fee Earners, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support across a range of residential property and new build conveyancing transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing exchange of contract memoranda, completion paperwork and other conveyancing documentation.
Drafting SDLT documentation and preparing legal correspondence.
Opening, maintaining and closing conveyancing files using the firm's practice management system.
Obtaining client identification and carrying out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and media searches.
Preparing files for exchange and completion, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and up to date.
Assisting with post-completion administration and associated conveyancing procedures.
Activating NHBC warranties and similar new build property policies.
Liaising with clients, property developers and other third parties, providing regular updates on transactions.
