Residential Conveyancing AssistantUp to £26,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join a leading property services business with an established presence across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage work who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, high-volume environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced conveyancers, providing key support throughout the conveyancing process while delivering a high standard of service to clients and professional partners.

The Role As a Residential Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide support across a varied caseload, with responsibilities including:

  • Supporting conveyancers to achieve conversion, service and performance targets
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and professional referrers
  • Managing electronic and paper files and ensuring records are kept accurately
  • Chasing clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties for information and documentation
  • Chasing and reconciling monies from lenders, clients and other solicitors
  • Assisting with exchange and completion processes
  • Inputting and interpreting information including redemption figures
  • Preparing, sending and checking legal and conveyancing documentation
  • Interpreting and inputting mortgage offers on purchase transactions
  • Dealing with enquiries relating to sale transactions
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative and conveyancing duties

About You We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and genuinely enjoys working in a client-focused environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • At least 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage
  • Previous experience within a conveyancing, administrative or customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and meet targets
  • Good data input and IT skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also using your own initiative
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment
  • A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
