Legal Counsel – Litigation | 1–6 Years’ PQE | Staffordshire | Hybrid Working

The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor (1–6 PQE) to join a busy and supportive in-house legal team based in Staffordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career in-house, with responsibility for managing a broad range of litigation and dispute matters within a commercially focused business.
You will work closely with colleagues across the business and external legal advisers, providing practical legal advice and helping to manage disputes, debt recovery and other legal matters.

The Role

As a Legal Counsel – Litigation, you will:

• Manage and advise on a range of litigation and dispute matters, including preparing cases for court or settlement
• Deal with a range of commercial disputes and debt recovery matters
• Liaise with internal teams and third parties to understand and resolve disputes
• Manage relationships with external counsel and third-party providers
• Assist with the management, reporting and progression of litigation matters

About You

You will ideally be:

• A qualified solicitor or barrister
• 1–6 years’ PQE
• Experienced in litigation and dispute resolution
• Comfortable managing large and complex case files
• Experienced in County Court and High Court litigation
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of the wider business impact of legal decisions
• A clear and concise communicator with strong problem-solving skills
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
