Horticultural Assistant

Overview

As a Horticulture Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers create and maintain beautiful gardens, while also ensuring the well-being of our wide range of plants and horticultural products.

You will create eye pleasing displays with new stock that is delivered to the store after checking off deliveries. The role will be fairly physical at certain points.

It is essential that you have some knowledge of plants and shrubs and everything horticulture!

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with horticulture needs and provide guidance on plant care and product selection.
• Create eye-pleasing displays with new stock after checking off deliveries.
• Support the maintenance and well-being of plants and horticultural products in-store.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of plants, shrubs, and horticulture.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as part of the role.

Hours

Hours of this position are: Monday 8.30am to 12.30pm; Thursday to Sunday 8.30am to 11.30am; 16 hours over 5 days.
