The role of a café supervisor is more leadership-oriented compared to a café assistant. A café supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. You'll ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are met, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
You would be preparing hot and cold drinks, as well as serving counter food and processing customer payment transactions, whilst overseeing café assistants and their rest breaks. This role will also include some days cooking in the busy kitchen so experience is essential.
Good housekeeping of the café environment and following health and safety regulations is essential. 37 hours per week over 5 days including some weekend shifts.
