We are currently supporting a specialist engineering and project delivery company supporting mission-critical construction and infrastructure projects across complex technical environments. The organisation provides installation, coordination and engineering expertise to help deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently and on schedule. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team and support their current project in London.
What you’ll do
- Lead the design and development of advanced cooling and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments, ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.
- Produce detailed engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation from concept through to deployment and commissioning.
- Manage testing, validation and performance analysis activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on project delivery.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in mechanical engineering design, ideally within data centres, HVAC, critical infrastructure or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of thermal management, fluid systems, heat transfer and cooling technologies.
- Experience using 3D CAD software and managing testing, commissioning and performance optimisation activities.
