Our client, a speciality pharmaceutical company based in the South of the UK, is looking for a Supply Planner. They specialise in central nervous systems, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and rare diseases, identifying difficult-to-manufacture therapeutic products and working with trusted partners to bring them to market.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate the replenishments of finished goods to the Distribution Centre and 3rd party partners – serving as the contact point for distributors.
- Keep Commercial updated on all stock positions so that focused sales campaigns can be delivered when needed.
- Monitor available stock levels meticulously to minimize write‑offs due to expiration and prevent destruction by initiating redistribution activities when feasible.
- Manage supplier relationships with CMOs to establish a strong partnership.
What You’ll Need
- A certification in supply chain management or a related field can be helpful.
- Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or FMCG.
- Experience with forecasts, planning and inventory management.
- Proven analytical, numerical and data‑driven approach.
