The Opportunity
- Join a market-leading Commercial Technology team advising on sophisticated technology, IT and outsourcing transactions.
- Lead on drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial technology agreements, including traditional IT contracts alongside arrangements involving AI systems and emerging technologies.
- Advise clients on technology regulation, particularly within the financial services sector and in relation to AI implementation.
- Support the technology aspects of high-value corporate transactions and strategic commercial projects.
- Work with an outstanding client base including multinational organisations, financial institutions, fintech businesses, technology providers and public sector bodies.
- Contribute to major projects involving AI, cloud computing, automation, blockchain and other rapidly evolving technologies.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while playing an active role in business development through seminars, training and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with specialists across commercial, intellectual property, data privacy and regulatory teams on complex, cross-disciplinary matters.

- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with 4-7 years' PQE and a strong background in commercial technology law.
- Significant experience advising on IT, outsourcing and technology contracts.
- A genuine interest in emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
- Strong understanding of technology and commercial law together with the legal and operational issues affecting technology transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
