THE OPPORTUNITY
- Join a developing Private Equity M&A practice with genuine scope to influence and grow the offering.
- Work on sophisticated sponsor-led and cross-border private equity transactions and hands-on, offering great opportunity to get stuck in!
- Take ownership of workstreams and manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.
- Work closely with partners and international colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Be part of a team investing for the long term rather than chasing short-term volume.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A qualified lawyer with 6-8 years’ PQE.
- Strong background in private equity M&A.
- Confident running workstreams independently on complex transactions.
- Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable dealing directly with clients.
- Motivated by long-term progression rather than short-term exits.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
- Base salary in the range of £164k - £174k, dependent on experience.
- Genuinely manageable hours, with a baseline of 1,500 and bonus eligibility from 1,700.
- A highly competitive bonus structure, starting at around 10% and rising to up to 40% of base salary.
- International, cross-border work as standard rather than the exception.
- Flexible working that’s applied sensibly, with scope for reduced office presence for standout performers.
