The Opportunity

  • Advise a diverse portfolio of national and international clients across the energy, infrastructure and built environment sectors.
  • Provide strategic and commercially focused advice on major development, infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Lead complex matters while managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers across the team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
  • Strong technical expertise across construction and engineering projects.
  • Experience advising on NEC, FIDIC and JCT standard form contracts.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or developing junior lawyers.
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills.
  • Commercially aware with an interest in helping grow a practice.
  • A proactive approach to business development and market engagement.
  • Ambitious and motivated by the prospect of progressing towards partnership.
