A market-leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate into its top-tier Real Estate Finance team in Manchester. The Manchester office works seamlessly with London and Southampton, as well as European colleagues, delivering complex, high-value transactions for a sophisticated client base.
This is a senior, deal-leading role within a highly regarded Real Estate Finance team. You will:
- Lead on complex real estate finance transactions across a broad range of asset classes.
- Act for banks, investment banks, private equity funds, alternative lenders, developers and sponsor clients.
- Draft and negotiate key finance documentation including facility agreements, fee letters and priority arrangements.
- Manage deal teams, supervising junior associates, trainees and paralegals.
- Work closely with partners on strategically important mandates.
- Play a visible role in client relationship development and the continued growth of the Manchester platform.
You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on high-value, often cross-border matters within a nationally and internationally integrated team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE.
- Strong experience in real estate finance or banking with exposure to real estate-backed lending.
- Confident leading transactions and managing junior team members.
- Technically strong with experience drafting and negotiating core finance documentation.
- Commercially astute with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Motivated to take on responsibility within a market-leading practice.
