The Opportunity
- Advising on a varied portfolio of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and disposals.
- Acting on development projects, investment transactions, property finance matters and strategic land work.
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion while maintaining high standards of client service.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building long-term professional relationships.
- Providing commercially focused advice tailored to clients' business objectives.
- Supporting business development initiatives and helping strengthen existing client relationships.
- Working closely with colleagues across planning, construction, corporate, banking and tax teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
- Taking responsibility for complex transactions and managing competing priorities effectively.
- Supporting, supervising and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in commercial real estate.
- Strong experience across transactional real estate matters.
- Particular experience in development work, whether residential or commercial.
- Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Confident working directly with clients and understanding their wider commercial objectives.
- An interest in business development and building long-term client and referrer relationships.
- A team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively across different practice areas.
