The Opportunity
- Lead on complex planning matters with a particular emphasis on infrastructure and energy projects.
- Advise clients throughout the planning process, including Development Consent Orders (DCOs), planning applications, appeals and wider regulatory matters.
- Act for developers, utilities, energy companies, investors, local authorities and public sector bodies on nationally and regionally significant projects.
- Work on a broad range of developments spanning renewable energy, transport, regeneration and strategic infrastructure.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Real Estate, Construction, Environment and Corporate on large-scale, multi-disciplinary mandates.
- Play a prominent role in business development, strengthening existing client relationships while expanding the practice across the Northern market.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and strategic direction to a talented and growing planning team.

- Extensive experience advising on Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and major planning matters.
