THE OPPORTUNITY
- Advising on a broad range of pensions matters including advisory, regulatory and transactional work.
- Supporting trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pensions issues, scheme governance and legislative developments.
- Involvement in pensions aspects of corporate transactions, restructurings and large-scale projects.
- Advising on scheme documentation, liability management exercises and risk transfer matters.
- Exposure to high-profile clients across a range of sectors including financial services, infrastructure, retail and public sector organisations.
- Working closely with colleagues across corporate, employment, finance and dispute resolution teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
- Building strong client relationships and taking an active role in business development initiatives.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Qualified solicitor with 4-8 years’ PQE in pensions law.
- Strong technical understanding of pensions advisory and regulatory matters.
- Experience gained within a recognised regional, national or international law firm.
- Exposure to transactional pensions support would be advantageous.
