THE OPPORTUNITY
- Play a central role in delivering complex, high‑value projects across multiple sectors including living, office, retail, life sciences, energy, industrials and transport.
- Advise a diverse and prestigious client base including public sector bodies, funders, developers, operators and professional teams on procurement strategies, facilities management and dispute avoidance mechanisms.
- Draft, review and negotiate a full range of construction and engineering contracts including JCT, NEC and bespoke agreements.
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers across Real Estate, Banking, Corporate and Projects to provide seamless cross‑practice support.
- Take on meaningful responsibility with genuine autonomy, high client contact and the opportunity to help drive team growth and client relationships.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE and a solid background in non‑contentious construction law.
- Experience advising on major UK construction or engineering projects, with strong technical drafting skills.
- Commercially minded and solution driven, with the ability to add value through sector knowledge and practical insight.
- A natural collaborator who enjoys mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
