The Opportunity
- Advising on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Handling Employment Tribunal litigation and complex workplace disputes.
- Providing day-to-day employment and HR advice to a diverse client base.
- Advising on restructures, redundancies, TUPE projects and organisational change.
- Supporting corporate transactions through employment-related advisory work.
- Advising on executive exits, severance arrangements and settlement agreements.
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the employment team.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships across a range of sectors.
- Participating in business development initiatives, including client training, seminars and networking activities.
- Working on high-profile and business-critical matters alongside experienced employment specialists.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5+ years' PQE in employment law.
- Strong technical expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Experience managing a varied caseload and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous supervisory or line management experience, or a genuine desire to mentor junior lawyers.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable contributing to business development and helping grow client relationships.
- A proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
