The Opportunity

Based within the Manchester Corporate Tax team, this is a broad transactional role offering exposure to complex, high-value and cross-border work.

You will advise across a number of areas, with scope to develop your experience in sectors that particularly interest you.

Your work will include

  • Providing corporate tax input across M&A, private equity, joint ventures and investment transactions.
  • Advising on the tax aspects of real estate transactions.
  • Working alongside senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters.
  • Developing professional relationships with clients in a client-facing role.
  • Managing and supervising work undertaken by trainees.
  • Contributing to business development and wider profile-raising initiatives.
  • Taking part in marketing events and other business development activities.
  • Making use of the firm’s investment in training and legal technology as you continue to develop your corporate tax practice.

  • A qualified lawyer with 1-4 years’ PQE.
  • Post-qualification experience gained within a UK-based team.
