The Opportunity
- Advising office holders, directors, lenders and other stakeholders on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Acting on distressed business and asset sales for insolvency practitioners and purchasers.
- Handling contentious insolvency work including claims involving breach of duty, transactions at undervalue and related disputes.
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
- Assisting partners and senior lawyers on larger and more complex restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Building relationships with insolvency practitioners, accountants and other professional referrers.
- Contributing to client seminars, training sessions, publications and wider business development initiatives.
- Working across both advisory and litigation matters as part of a national insolvency practice.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE.
- Experience across contentious and/or non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.
- Confident managing files independently where appropriate.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent client relationship and communication abilities.
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and keen to develop within a growing team.
