The Opportunity
- Join a growing Projects & Infrastructure team with a strong pipeline of UK and international mandates.
- Advise government bodies, developers and project sponsors on major infrastructure, energy and defence projects.
- Support clients through the full project lifecycle, from procurement and project structuring through to construction and operational arrangements.
- Work on matters spanning energy, transport, defence, nuclear, PPP and PFI projects.
- Gain exposure to both domestic and international project development work.
- Collaborate with lawyers from a range of specialist disciplines, including procurement, construction, project finance and sector-focused teams.
- Take an active role in client relationship management and business development initiatives.
- Benefit from early responsibility and direct involvement in high-profile projects.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE.
- Experience advising on project agreements including some exposure to PPP/PFI, PPAs, EPC contracts or O&M agreements.
- Strong commercial awareness and an interest in the infrastructure, energy or public sector markets.
- Experience of public procurement matters would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Exposure to defence, government or nuclear sector work would be welcomed.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and keen to broaden their technical and sector knowledge.
