The Opportunity
- Join a well-respected Commercial Dispute Resolution team handling a broad range of litigation and arbitration matters.
- Work on complex disputes from inception through to resolution, acting for a diverse client base across multiple sectors.
- Advise on matters including contract disputes, warranty claims, shareholder disputes, professional negligence and fraud-related claims.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, reports and other key litigation documents.
- Manage client communications and liaise with solicitors, counsel, experts, courts and other stakeholders.
- Assist with negotiations, settlement discussions and dispute resolution strategies.
- Gain exposure to specialist disputes including construction, engineering and technology-related matters.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including preparing articles, insights and client-facing content.
- Work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and commercial dispute management.
- Experience handling a varied caseload and supporting matters through all stages of the dispute lifecycle.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Commercially aware with a genuine interest in dispute resolution and client service.
- Able to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
- Experience of business development activities and relationship-building would be advantageous.
- Exposure to areas such as contract disputes, warranty claims, shareholder disputes, professional negligence or fraud matters would be beneficial.
