THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Join a specialist regulatory team with a strong focus on Health and Safety matters.
  • Work on a broad range of regulatory issues, from advisory work through to contentious matters.
  • Support on HSE investigations, enforcement action and regulatory breaches.
  • Gain exposure to inquests, often arising from serious workplace incidents.
  • Assist on matters involving corporate manslaughter and safety-related prosecutions.
  • Work closely with experienced lawyers on complex, high-profile and time-sensitive cases.
  • Engage with clients across sectors including energy, transport, manufacturing and retail.
  • Take on early responsibility in a team where junior lawyers are actively involved from the outset.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Qualified solicitor with 0-3 years’ PQE.
  • Some experience of contentious, regulatory or investigations work, gained during a training seat or post-qualification.
  • A clear interest in Health and Safety, inquests and wider regulatory work.
  • Comfortable working on detailed, fact-heavy and often sensitive matters.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Organised, proactive and keen to develop within a specialist regulatory practice.
