Working with developers, contractors, funders, investors and public sector organisations, the team supports clients throughout the full lifecycle of construction projects, from procurement and project delivery through to dispute resolution. With ambitious plans for continued growth across its regional offices, the firm is now looking to appoint an experienced Construction & Engineering Partner to help drive its next chapter.
The Opportunity
- Take a leading role in the continued expansion of the Construction & Engineering practice in either Leeds or Birmingham.
- Advise on complex construction matters across a broad client base, with the flexibility to focus on your particular area of expertise.
- Act for developers, contractors, consultants, investors, lenders and public sector organisations on significant development, regeneration and infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Banking, Planning and Corporate to deliver joined-up advice on major transactions and projects.
- Build upon an established client base while further developing your own relationships and market profile.
- Play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the team and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Lead, mentor and develop lawyers within the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Be part of a nationally connected practice with the autonomy to influence its future direction.
The Ideal Candidate
- An established Construction & Engineering Partner with a strong reputation in the market.
- A proven track record advising clients on complex construction and engineering matters.
- Experience acting for developers, contractors, investors, funders, consultants or public sector clients.
- An established network of relationships and a genuine interest in further developing a successful practice.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver practical, client-focused advice.
- A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the business.
- Keen to play a central role in the continued growth of a nationally recognised Construction & Engineering practice.
