With particular strength across sectors including financial services, retail, consumer, energy and transport, the team is regularly instructed on complex tribunal litigation, whistleblowing claims, business protection issues and large-scale workforce projects.
The Opportunity
- Advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Support clients on day-to-day HR issues as well as complex strategic projects.
- Work on significant employment tribunal litigation and workplace disputes.
- Advise on whistleblowing, business protection and employee relations matters.
- Support major corporate projects including outsourcing, restructuring and organisational change initiatives.
- Develop strong relationships with a high-calibre client base that includes some of the UK's leading businesses.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas and industry sectors.
- Play an active role in business development and the continued growth of client relationships.
- Gain exposure to innovative ways of delivering legal services including the use of technology and AI-driven solutions.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in employment law.
- Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Strong technical ability combined with commercial awareness and practical judgement.
- Comfortable building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Enthusiastic about developing expertise within a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating practice.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
- Genuinely interested in understanding clients' businesses and delivering commercially focused advice.
