This appointment presents an opportunity for an established Partner to play a key role in the continued success of the firm's Scottish practice.
The Opportunity
- Lead on a varied portfolio of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, disposals, development and asset management.
- Advise a broad client base comprising investors, developers, lenders, occupiers and public sector organisations.
- Play a leading role on major development, regeneration and investment projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
- Work across a diverse range of sectors, including living, logistics, energy, transport and commercial development.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in construction, planning, finance, tax and environmental teams to provide seamless legal support.
- Strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities to further expand the practice.
- Lead, mentor and develop talented lawyers within a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and continued growth of the Scottish Real Estate practice.
The Ideal Candidate
- An established Real Estate Partner with a proven track record in commercial property.
- Extensive experience advising on complex investment, development and asset management transactions.
- Strong relationships within the Scottish real estate market and a demonstrable history of business development.
- Experience acting for developers, investors, occupiers, lenders and public sector clients.
- An accomplished leader with the ability to inspire teams and develop long-term client relationships.
- Commercially astute with excellent technical and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative approach and an ambition to help shape the future of a growing practice.
