The Opportunity
- Develop an established practice across environmental law and product liability.
- Advise businesses on complex environmental, regulatory and compliance matters.
- Handle product-related issues spanning product safety, compliance, recalls and liability.
- Advise on regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings and related contentious matters.
- Work on environmental issues arising in corporate transactions, real estate matters and wider commercial activity.
- Act for businesses operating across a variety of regulated industries and international markets.
- Draw upon environmental, regulatory, litigation and product specialists across the firm's international network.
- Build upon an existing book of work while developing further client relationships and new instructions.
- Contribute to the wider development and profile of the practice at Partner level.
- The Ideal Candidate
- An established Partner with substantial experience in environmental law.
- Significant experience of product liability matters.
- A well-developed understanding of environmental and regulatory issues affecting businesses.
- Experience advising on complex contentious and/or regulatory matters.
- An established and transferable book of work.
- A proven track record of developing client relationships and generating instructions.
- Commercially astute and comfortable operating at senior client level.
- Able to be based in either London or Leeds.
