THE OPPORTUNITY
- Roles available from 1+ PQE through to Partner level.
- Advising on a broad range of contentious construction and engineering matters across the UK and internationally.
- Acting for contractors, developers, employers, consultants, funders and insurers on high‑value and strategically important disputes.
- Handling matters involving delay and disruption claims, defects disputes, payment disputes, professional negligence and contractual disagreements.
- Representing clients in adjudication, arbitration, mediation, litigation and other forms of dispute resolution.
- Working on disputes arising from major infrastructure, energy, transport, real estate and engineering projects.
- Building strong client relationships while working closely with experienced construction disputes specialists.
- Contributing to matters that are commercially significant, technically complex and often business‑critical for clients.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Qualified solicitor with experience in Construction Disputes, Engineering Disputes or a related contentious practice area.
- Experience gained within a recognised construction, projects or disputes team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage detailed and often technically complex matters.
- Comfortable working closely with clients, experts, counsel and other stakeholders throughout the dispute process.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- Able to balance commercial objectives with legal and strategic considerations.
- Ambitious and driven, with a desire to play an influential role in the future success of a disputes practice.
