The Opportunity

  • Advise on the real estate aspects of major energy, renewables and infrastructure projects across the UK.
  • Work on a diverse range of developments including onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen, EV charging, heat networks and wider infrastructure schemes.
  • Draft and negotiate key project documentation including leases, options, development agreements and related real estate documents.
  • Lead title review, site assembly, access arrangements and land due diligence exercises.
  • Support nationally significant infrastructure projects including matters involving compulsory purchase and development consent processes.
  • Work directly with developers, investors, landowners, funders and public sector organisations on complex, high-value transactions.
  • Collaborate closely with specialists across planning, construction, corporate, finance and regulatory teams.
  • Take on increasing levels of responsibility for client relationships, transaction management and project delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in commercial real estate.
  • Experience advising on energy, infrastructure, renewables or large-scale development projects would be advantageous.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and transactional skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to deliver pragmatic and solutions-focused advice.
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across complex projects.
  • A genuine interest in the energy transition and the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • An enthusiastic team player who enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary environment.
