The Opportunity
- Working on a broad range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions for UK and international clients.
- Supporting venture capital and private equity investments from due diligence through to completion.
- Drafting and negotiating key corporate documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and subscription agreements.
- Assisting overseas clients with the establishment and structuring of UK operations and investments.
- Advising on corporate reorganisations and group restructuring projects.
- Supporting joint ventures and strategic partnership arrangements.
- Providing general corporate advisory support across a wide variety of business matters.
- Preparing client-facing documentation, legal research and transaction support materials.
- Building relationships with clients and gaining direct client exposure from an early stage.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and wider team growth.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with NQ-2 years' PQE.
- Experience gained in Corporate law through training or post-qualification practice.
- Exposure to corporate transactions, ideally including M&A, private equity or investment work.
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
