The Opportunity

  • Join a well-respected Commercial Dispute Resolution team handling a broad range of litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Work on complex disputes from inception through to resolution, acting for a diverse client base across multiple sectors.
  • Advise on matters including contract disputes, warranty claims, shareholder disputes, professional negligence and fraud-related claims.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, reports and other key litigation documents.
  • Manage client communications and liaise with solicitors, counsel, experts, courts and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with negotiations, settlement discussions and dispute resolution strategies.
  • Gain exposure to specialist disputes including construction, engineering and technology-related matters.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including preparing articles, insights and client-facing content.
  • Work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and commercial dispute management.
  • Experience handling a varied caseload and supporting matters through all stages of the dispute lifecycle.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Commercially aware with a genuine interest in dispute resolution and client service.
  • Able to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Experience of business development activities and relationship-building would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to areas such as contract disputes, warranty claims, shareholder disputes, professional negligence or fraud matters would be beneficial.
