The Role

The Senior Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for delivering full‑funnel marketing campaigns that drive high‑quality leads into the sales pipeline, accelerate active sales conversations, activate new customers, and retain existing business.

This role will own paid activation across all key markets through the planning, execution, and continuous optimisation of paid advertising initiatives.

There is a strong expectation of rigorous monthly reporting, structured experimentation, and ongoing optimisation across platforms.

The successful candidate will use modern AI‑powered tools and large language models (LLMs such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot or similar) to accelerate insight generation, campaign ideation, creative development, and performance analysis while applying sound human judgement, commercial awareness, and contextual understanding.

The Senior Performance Marketing Specialist will take a proactive and strategic role in defining and delivering a growth strategy aligned to core commercial objectives.

Acting as a trusted consultant to both Marketing and Commercial teams, they will establish and evolve paid advertising best practices with a strong focus on ROAS, data‑driven decision‑making, and scalable impact.

A key area of focus will be Linked In Ads, particularly account‑based marketing (ABM) strategies supporting B2B Enterprise sales, including engagement of buying committees and alignment with sales‑led motions.

In addition, strong working knowledge of other paid platforms, such as Meta, Reddit, Tik Tok, and emerging channels, will be essential to reaching audiences across the funnel and testing new opportunities for efficient growth.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage, review, and optimise day‑to‑day account responsibilities across paid advertising platforms including Linked In Ads (with a strong focus on ABM for B2B Enterprise sales), Google Ads, and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Plan and execute full‑funnel paid marketing campaigns to drive demand, accelerate sales opportunities, activate new customers, and support retention across all key markets.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to identify priority accounts, buying committees, and sales objectives, and translate these into effective paid advertising and ABM strategies.
  • Identify, implement, and track key performance metrics using appropriate tracking, tagging, and attribution tools.
  • Build, manage, and optimise remarketing, custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and account‑based targeting across key paid channels.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to promote digital, video, and content assets through paid channels using best‑practice execution.
  • Use modern AI‑powered tools and large language models (LLMs) to support campaign ideation, creative testing, performance analysis, and insight generation.
  • Test, evaluate, and scale activity across additional paid channels such as Meta, Reddit, Tik Tok, and emerging platforms, monitoring performance and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Manage and optimise the paid advertising budget, including allocation, forecasting, pacing, and performance‑based optimisation.
  • Implement and manage conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives, including A/B testing of ads, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
  • Produce monthly reporting on key paid advertising, pipeline, and revenue metrics, clearly communicating performance, insights, and recommendations.
  • Analyse, manipulate, and visualise campaign and CRM data to assess lead quality, pipeline contribution, and commercial impact.
  • Collaborate with the wider Commercial team to manage the distribution and quality of leads generated from paid sources.
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers where required, ensuring activity aligns with strategy, budget, and performance expectations.
  • Support marketing‑led initiatives such as events and industry activities through paid promotion to drive awareness and lead generation.

About You

  • You have a strong ability to write clear, concise, and compelling copy tailored to different audiences and funnel stages.
  • You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present performance insights and recommendations to marketing and commercial stakeholders.
  • You have a strong analytical ability to interpret performance data, assess impact across the funnel, and translate insights into action.
  • You have confidence manipulating and analysing data using spreadsheets, analytics platforms, and CRM tools (e. g. filtering, pivoting, basic modelling).
  • You have the ability to create clear and effective data visualisations and dashboards that communicate performance, trends, and ROI.
  • You have comfort using AI‑powered tools and large language models (LLMs) to improve efficiency, insight generation, and campaign development, with sound judgement around limitations and accuracy.
  • You have the ability to manage budgets effectively and demonstrate return on ad spend (ROAS) and commercial impact.
  • You have strong attention to detail, including proofreading and quality control across campaigns and reporting.
  • You have understanding of full‑funnel marketing principles, including demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer retention.
  • You have deep familiarity with Linked In Ads and account‑based marketing (ABM) approaches within B2B Enterprise sales environments.
  • You have an understanding of the implications of working in regulated environments, including compliance, approvals, and data governance.
  • Experience working within the medical and/or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.

What You Bring

  • Google Ads Certification is highly desirable.
  • 3–5 years’ experience using analytics platforms (e. g. Google Analytics or equivalent), with the ability to assess campaign performance and user behaviour.
  • 3–5 years’ hands‑on experience managing paid advertising across platforms such as Linked In Advertising, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Ads, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience running paid campaigns that support B2B lead generation and pipeline growth, with exposure to account‑based marketing (ABM) approaches considered a strong advantage.
  • Working knowledge of additional paid platforms such as Reddit, Tik Tok, and emerging channels, with an appetite for experimentation and learning.
  • Experience using AI‑powered tools and large language models (LLMs) to support campaign development, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience analysing and manipulating performance data using spreadsheets or analytics tools, with the ability to produce clear summaries and visualisations.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and deadlines.
