This job is predominantly remote (up to one day per week in our London office) you will be required to travel for company congresses and external conferences as required.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs an Account Manager at Qbtech, you will have full ownership and accountability for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence within the NHS and private healthcare sector. This role demands a commercially minded, results-driven professional who can take full responsibility for the entire sales lifecycle — from lead to long-term client success.
- Revenue Growth & Sales Ownership: Full responsibility for managing the sales pipeline, closing new business, and expanding existing accounts for NHS Trusts and Private Providers. Ensure that customers are supported to activate their accounts and initiate good practices for embedding Qbtech technology into their pathways to help deliver mutual KPIs. Lead all sales activities from lead generation and quotations to procurement and final close. Identify and convert new market opportunities to increase revenue and test volume.
- Client Engagement & Implementation: Drive client success by supporting implementation of QbTest into ADHD care pathways. Coordinate demonstration and installation logistics for maximum impact and uptake. Provide audit support and ongoing value to clients to strengthen relationships and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Clinical, and Commercial teams to complete governance and compliance documentation. Ensure all procurement and setup processes are executed efficiently and professionally.
- Market Development & Brand Advocacy: Build relationships with KOLs to generate endorsements and thought leadership opportunities. Contribute written content to elevate brand awareness and market presence.
You are a self-motivated, high-energy sales professional with a hunger to win, a proactive mindset, and a track record of success in healthcare sales — ideally selling into the NHS or private mental health sector. You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and are comfortable managing change, seizing new opportunities, and balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You bring at least 3 years of relevant B2B Medical sector/Pharmaceutical sales experience, with a deep understanding of complex sales cycles, procurement processes, and clinical stakeholder engagement. You know how to navigate the NHS, build trust with clinicians and procurement teams, and drive adoption of innovative solutions. Ideally you have worked in Mental Health and the Neurodevelopmental space, specifically ADHD, but not essential. You're a team player who collaborates well across departments, but you’re also highly autonomous — you know how to prioritise your time for maximum commercial impact and take full ownership of your pipeline and revenue goals. You’re comfortable being held accountable for results and bring a proactive and strategic, consultative approach to every opportunity. We are looking for someone who has:- A strong track record in sales within pharma, medtech, medical devices, diagnostics, or biologics — ideally with demonstrable success selling into the NHS or private healthcare sector.
- A minimum of a BSc or BA (preferably in a life science, healthcare, or business-related field).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across clinical and commercial audiences.
- Proven experience working with Director/C-suite level stakeholders, managing multiple stakeholder groups and navigating complex account environments.
- Confidence and capability in creating business cases and supporting documentation to drive NHS procurement processes forward.
- A working knowledge of NHS governance, clinical compliance, and procurement frameworks, including IT and clinical governance documentation.
- An inner drive and strong work ethic with a can-do attitude and relentless focus on delivering results and making an impact.
