The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Multinational Service Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Chelmsford office. This role is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in multinational insurance servicing. Your New Role
As a Multinational Service Specialist, you'll support the delivery of complex and compliant multinational insurance programmes throughout their full lifecycle - from quote and bind to policy servicing and cashflow management. You'll work closely with Producing Office Underwriters and a wide range of internal teams including Credit Control, Claims, Compliance, and our Global Network. You'll also liaise with local offices, brokers, and clients to ensure programmes run smoothly and meet all regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and servicing of multinational programmes in line with business plans.
- Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure seamless programme delivery.
- Prepare and manage documentation for new and renewal cases, mid-term changes, and local underwriting input.
- Advise underwriters on local servicing costs, taxes, tariffs, and retentions to support accurate pricing.
- Issue clear instructions to servicing offices and manage policy schedules and reinsurance slips.
- Monitor payments and collections to maintain a healthy cash position.
- Use appropriate tools to calculate and allocate taxes across premium distributions.
- Track and analyse programme performance, escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain data quality across systems and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support audits and peer reviews.
- Act as a buddy to less experienced colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice.
