The Opportunity
We’re recruiting two Talent Acquisition Advisors on 12‐month fixed term contracts, each supporting a distinct hiring portfolio within QBE:
- One role focused on Technology and Enabling Functions (e.g. Tech, Data, Change, Enabling Functions)
- One role focused on Insurance and Underwriting roles
Both roles offer the chance to join an experienced TA team and play a key role in delivering high quality, inclusive hiring across a global organisation. You’ll work closely with hiring managers across regions, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure an engaging candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Your new role
You’ll support end to end recruitment delivery aligned to one of the following portfolios:
- Technology & Enabling Functions TA Advisor
You’ll recruit across technology and enabling teams, partnering with hiring managers on specialist and hard to find skillsets within an international organisation. - Insurance & Underwriting TA Advisor
You’ll focus on hiring across insurance and underwriting roles, working closely with business leaders to deliver high quality talent for core insurance functions.
Across both roles, you’ll be responsible for:
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver effective recruitment solutions
- Sourcing, screening and recommending candidates to build strong short and long term talent pipelines
- Managing the candidate journey from application through to offer and onboarding, ensuring a high quality experience throughout
- Proactively using and optimising sourcing channels to access diverse and hard to find talent
- Maintaining a visible presence in the external market and building ongoing relationships with prospective candidates
- Supporting continuous improvement across sourcing and recruitment practices, including trialling new approaches and tools
About you
We’re looking for individuals who bring curiosity, energy and solid recruitment capability. Depending on the role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, gained in‐house, agency or RPO environments
- Experience recruiting technology / enabling roles or preferably insurance / underwriting roles
- Comfort operating in a global or matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders
- Strong sourcing capability and experience building pipelines for a range of roles and levels
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with candidates, hiring managers and peers
- The ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast paced environment
