The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This role plays a key part in providing oversight, challenge and insight across Enterprise Risk Management activities, with a strong focus on Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs), issue and incident management, and risk reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted Risk partner and helping to embed strong risk management discipline. Having the right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role. QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion.

Your New Role

As a Senior Risk Analyst, you’ll play a leading role in delivering ERM oversight and challenge across QBE European Operations. You’ll bring a confident, analytical and inquisitive approach, supporting effective risk based decision making and acting as a visible Risk presence across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical expertise and delivery: You’ll lead and coordinate core ERM activities to the standards expected of a Senior Risk Analyst.
  • You’ll communicate clearly and credibly with senior stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations with impact and being open to feedback, while actively role modelling QBE’s DNA and inclusive culture.
  • Looking for someone with the confidence and experience to have strong experience in risk management, audit, or a related assurance environment.
  • Experience working within, or closely with, the general insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Ability to operate at pace with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

This role is well suited to someone with previous experience in risk or assurance who is comfortable working independently, influencing others, and applying professional judgement.
