We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Product Development Technician to join our team based in Stafford on a 12 month fixed term contract. The purpose of this role is to work across our SME E-Trade offering to enact change to the product suite, ensuring that all our E-Trade products are fit for purpose and aligned with business plan objectives. Your new role:
- Own end-to-end delivery of E‑trade product changes, aligned to business plan objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams (E‑trade, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, IT and MI) to agree scope, requirements, risks and progress.
- Liaise with external partners (Acturis, Polaris and other software providers) to deliver to QBE requirements, on time and within budget.
- Lead and oversee testing, including creation of test packs to ensure accuracy and minimise risk.
- Provide technical support to outsourced UAT providers where applicable.
- Ensure all changes meet required governance and control standards.
