QBE Europe is recruiting a Business Analysis Manager to lead a team of Business Analysts within our Inwards Reinsurance business. The role operates as a hybrid position based in London, with flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Business Analysts.
  • Act as the interface between business and IT teams, providing analysis support and building domain expertise.
  • Lead agile delivery, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and flexibility.
  • Specialise in process, business, or systems analysis to identify gaps and redesign processes.
  • Manage essential process documentation and project implementation in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the strategic technical roadmap for the domain.
  • Support the implementation of business‑led change to achieve objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality of analysis outputs.
  • Build relationships with industry experts and stakeholders to align solutions with business and IT strategy.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure objectives are met.
  • Communicate updates and changes in IT strategy to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels in IT and business.
  • Strong insurance or London Market and domain expertise, preferably with re‑insurance experience.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional teams and matrix management.
  • Experience negotiating and influencing executive‑level sponsors.
  • Proven experience interpreting business strategy and translating it into IT strategy.
  • Significant business analysis experience, including managing multiple complex projects using various delivery methodologies.
  • Strong track record of technology delivery.
  • Experience managing and working with IT external vendors.
  • Significant experience in the insurance industry.
  • Project management experience along with business analysis and improvement experience.
  • Experience managing or leading others with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in a similar tech‑service environment within related industries.
  • Experience working in a team‑oriented, agile, collaborative environment.
